A Brief

History

Yeshivas Lubavitch Manchester opened in 1982 under the expert leadership of Rabbi Akiva Cohenwho was personally chosen by the Lubavitcher Rebbe to be Rosh Yeshiva.

Our

Ethos

The Faculty at Yeshivas Lubavitch Manchester invest huge amounts of time, energy and care into the well-being of the Bochurim – physically, intellectually and spiritually.

Our

Bochurim

As well as the many hours of learning our boys do each day, the Bochurim are also extremely active in any spare time they have interacting with the local community via various outreach projects throughout the year.

Why

WE NEED YOUR HELP TO CONTINUE AND GROW

We are now at a pivotal stage in the Yeshiva’s development. Our growing numbers mean we have no choice but to relocate and are, in fact, currently in a position of having to turn applicants away as we simply cannot accommodate them. The site and planning permission for the new building are all in place but we need your help to make the vision turn into a reality. As such we invite you to partner with us not just in a building of bricks and mortar, but in the building and strengthening of world Jewry.  We ask you to join us in making a difference.
